ITINERARY Our first major stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can walk between two continents and discover the birthplace of Iceland’s history. We then continue to the geothermal wonders of Geysir Geothermal Area, where you’ll witness powerful geysers erupting high into the air. Next, we visit the breathtaking Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, where you’ll feel the raw power of glacial water cascading into a dramatic canyon. Along the way, we also include special stops that many tours skip. Explore the charming geothermal town of Hveragerði, known for its hot springs and greenhouses, and visit the colorful volcanic crater Kerið Crater, famous for its striking red slopes and vivid blue lake. You’ll have plenty of time at each stop to take in the views, capture photos, and enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace. After a full day of adventure, we’ll drive you back to Reykjavík, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Iceland’s natural beauty.

WHAT TO BRING For the Golden Circle, bring waterproof and windproof jackets and pants, thermal base layers, and sturdy waterproof hiking boots. Crampons/ice grips are essential for winter tours. Essential Clothing Layers (All Year) Base Layer: Moisture-wicking thermal top and bottom (wool or synthetic). Mid-Layer: Fleece sweater, wool jumper, or light insulated jacket. Outer Shell: Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants are crucial. Avoid: Jeans are not recommended as they get cold and heavy when wet. Essential Gear & Accessories Footwear: Waterproof hiking boots with good ankle support and grip.
